Calling all train lovers! Join the FTHS at the home of entertainer Steve Jeffris to explore his vintage railroad car collection, which includes a caboose and a steam locomotive, as well as a period cabin and a replica jailhouse.
The event runs from 2 to 4PM at Mr. Jeffris’ property located at 8129 S. Mitthoeffer Road. Parking is onsite. This tour is outdoors and requires some easy walking over grass and gravel.
Really nice place with some very interesting memorabilia and antiques. Steve’s wife, Sharon, gave my family a tour of the place yesterday and and we were really impressed. Sharon said they are having the annual Steve Jeffris Caboose Festival on September 21st from 11am-7pm with a handful of musicians performing. It sounds like a fun time and from what I have heard they usually have a good turnout.
