Fourth Grade visit to Meeting House – October 12

On October 12, around 100 fourth-grade students, as well as their teachers and chaperons, toured the Meeting House and the Big Run Cemetery. The students learned about life in the 19th century, exploring our recreation of a one-room schoolhouse, kitchen area, typewriter station, What Is It table, and model dairy barn. They also learned about early settlers and the symbology of gravestones.
