Thanks to the 40+ people who came out to attend our Old Fashioned Christmas Celebration! We had a delightful evening. Society president Nancy VanArendonk talked about the history of Christmas trees and the changes in the portrayals of St. Nicholas throughout the centuries; Carolyn Kanouse lent her Santa collection for display; we sang carols, ate punch and cookies, and heard A Visit From St. Nicholas read by the jolly old man himself!
Organist Jim Kemp played our 1870s-vintage pump organ to accompany carol singing.
